Our A-Plus employee of the month for April is Martha Jackson.
Martha has been with us for many years. Her personality is upbeat and bubbly and she always has a positive attitude. She is a hard worker and will pick up shifts for us whenever she can. In the home care industry, that is very valuable. Martha has this to say about her career as a Home Care Aide.
“As a caregiver for seniors for over 15 years, I can say that I enjoy all aspects of my job, not just the positive things, but also whatever challenges come up. I put all my effort, my compassion, my love and joy, my positive attitude and personality, and my skills to provide my clients with the quality care they deserve day after day. Once I walk into my clients’ homes, they are the most important people that I focus on and I want to be there for them. Clients and their families are the essence of my job as a caregiver, so I treat them with much respect. I listen to them and try to understand their feelings and emotions. I try to have answers and explanations and comfort for their problems as best I can.
